I've met him a number of times, and he seems like a total jagoff. Then again, pretty much every kid who comes up to him is trying to get on his show by lighting their testicles on fire, or something.
I was all talkin' to the sk8tr bois that live next door over the weekend and I was all "I have a skateboard" and they were all "yeah?" and I was all "yeah" and they were all "can you show it to us?" and I did, and they were all "wow, nice board" and I was all "yeah, but I never ride it anymore. I just bought new bearings and I still never ride it" and they were all "can you do any tricks?" and I was all "once you become responsible for your own medical bills it kind of takes the thrill out of it" and they looked at me with blank expressions on their faces, and I was all "heheh" and they were all "we like the bearings" and I was all "thanks" and they were all "well, we're gonna go now" and I was all "yeah, I gotta get back inside and do my chores."
I useta be cool. Once. What a great week that was!
Mullen is damn good, better than Margera by any means.....When it comes to skill, Margera isn't the best...Mullens good, and Tony Hawk is still good, even though he's getting old.
but, these guys will never have the skills that guys like Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta, and Jay Adams had. These guys pretty much invented skateboarding, they made it the way it is today. Has anyone seen their documentary or the new film? They're pretty good....
