My hands are like leather

My body is super sore
but my mind is awake
In fact sore isn't even the word for it
It just fucking hurts
and that is after an epsom salt bath

Lifting pack after pack of hikers
going on a trail
wonderfing how they can all fit on the trail
and why

why would people all want to start a trail at the same time?
They didn't know probably
30 people dropped off at the trailhead.
I wouldn't do it.
I do it off schedule. For solitude.

I was going to go to a cabin in the mountains this weekend but it's supposed to rain all weekend. Oh well, food shopping, Netflix, and a Bbq under a tent on Monday instead.
 
I even wore gloves. I got a new pair. They have pink in them and hopefully none of the guys will try to borrow them. Why are my hands so raw?! I've been putting lotion on them all night. I hope they soften up soon.

We had chicks on board yesterday too.
Live chicks and I got to watch over them. Sooo cute.

I kept making jokes all day about them. And one guy didn't pick up on it when I said "I miss the chicks" and he was like "Yeah me too, but there will be more tomorrow"
OMG. The captain was laughing so hard.
