Yes then Kirsten Dunst comes round to visit and Michael gets jealous and hires OJ Simpson to kill her but he kills Kristin Kreuk by mistake and has to go on the run with Michael who has trapped poor Toby in the boot of the car and they crash into a river and Toby nearly drowns but the policeman gives him mouth to mouth and the policeman is EGGS MAYONNAISE!
It's not gone. He's just closed the place. He can do what he wants, he's not poor in the slightest, he's living in a Berkshire mansion at the moment and will probably sell Neverland since he said he wasn't going to go back there in 2003.
He also said he was moving abroad and didn't care to stay in the States back in 1995 on the Barbara Walters interview. It's not a big deal to him anymore. He can afford to keep it running or just forget all about it.
Since I doubt he will go back there anytime soon he might as well sell it and keep it out of sight out of mind. But he hasn't, he's just closed the doors since he's not going back anytime soon, he may still change his mind but I doubt it..
