cmon spill...Malibu? Impala? Cobalt?

Another Saturn, an Aura XE. Silver with silver cloth seats. Might be a little complicated for me. It has its own phone number. The OnStar feature is nice. Did the "turn by turn" demo on the way home from the dealership. It set a course home that was mostly highway. I don't like to drive on the highways that much so I didn't take the turns it told me to. The OnStar "turn by turn" navigator altered the route to incorporate my changes. Pretty cool. The XM radio is nice too - certainly a lot to choose from. Best thing is, it is new - only 18 miles on the odometer when I drove her off the lot.

My old Saturn was still okay - less than 50k on the odometer - but needs some cosmetic work - some hail damage on the trunk from the storm back in April, a scratch on the exterior from a cart someone slid into her at the shopping center parking lot the other day, and a good cleaning. However, I don't feel as comfortable taking it out in the middle of nowhere anymore because it is 5 years old.

In a way it is funny because I just paid $500 to fix the check engine light problem - had to replace the gas cap stuff the gas thief broke recently, fix an axle leak thingy, rotate the tires, replace the cabin air filter and do an oil change. While I was waiting for my car to be finished, I went looking into the new cars on the lot. Wasn't planning on buying just yet but I hate car repairs and you know how a good sales person is. He gave me a very good deal. Got $4k for my trade in, 0% interest and the plan where they do all the maintenance for the next 6 years for free too, and the car will email me and tell me when it needs service. That I especially like. Now I just need to figure out all the gizmos and gadgets. About the time I do, it will be time to trade her in.

Yah - Saturn - a GM product.

I really enjoyed my last Saturn. The service at the dealership is the best too.

Guess I should have mentioned that a black woman attacked me at 7:00 Saturday morning. I thought I deserved something new to reward myself for being good and not kicking her MFing sorry racist ass cause don't you know I'd have gone to jail and she'd have gotten free food and people coming and remodeling her house and mowing her yard.

I've sold 5 cars that way in the last couple weeks.

I'd have given you more for the Saturn, even with the hail damage, and paid your gas to drive up from texas too, plus put you up in a motel and make dinner for you.

I'd have put you in a Malibu or Impala though, but nice work. You'll enjoy that car :D.

They didn't set up OnStar for you before you left?? I do that. That shit's fun. Did you set up your phone thingy?

Jack, is it normal for cars this age to break like this?

A friend just had her transmission replaced on a 2yr old 30,000km car, even tho twas IMO a shit brand; its still made me a bit concerned for my little car :(

Most new cars should carry 3/36,000 bumper to bumper coverage. When you are buying a car, make sure the rep does a "service walk" with you and talk to the people in the garage, look at it. It can be your best resource when shit like this happens.

A 2000 dollar extended warranty on a used car is actually a good "investment" and only adds about 30 a month to the loan (60 to 72 months), just make sure it's the real thing, and not a padded "back end" deal to pad the gross for the dealership.

I have 5 yr warranty....plus dealership one 4 extra 3yrs if i keep going there 4 servicing.

btw, i have a lil rust spot on the bonnet from a stone chip...can i just file it out with a nail file and use the touch up?

What "little car" do you have? Almost all cars are the same (in the sense that they are made well)
