The Legendary Troll King
STAR WARS SUCKS DIARRHETIC SHIT. jesus, absolutely unreal what a piece of shit ROTS really is.

On the other hand,

THE DEVIL'S REJECTS just came out on DVD, and I happy. What a fucking blast. Almost as good as HOTC.

and

Somehow a new Day of the Dead has appeared, DOTD2 the Contagium. It's not bad, but I'm beginning to think the upstart remake is the real thing.

Sorry, I was fully formed when that motherfucker broke, I was affected differently than you nerdlings, that was the best rock and roll record ever made....then.

Oh sure, of course. How silly of me.

Where were you again when it premiered?

*looks at the 40 novels and entire SW comic book series sitting in a box behind him*

So I wasn't born when SW premiered. Big whoop. Doesn't mean for an instant that I don't know more about it, now does it? Seriously, I am one of the pedantic TFN'ers, I know more, its not a big deal, I just do.

I wasn't born when TOS aired either Jack. Do you know more about that series than me as well?

I'll sleep tonight, thanks. No it's cool, I know nothing about SW at all really.

Good. now back to my original point. ROTS ruled, it was a great movie worthy of being called a Star Wars movie.

Did it have dodgy acting? Check /

Cringe worthy dialogue? Check /

Dubious continuity errors? Check /

Is George a bit mad? Check /

is George a genius? Check /

Did ROTS rule? Check /

Sorry, I just finished it and I don't agree. I mean it was cool in that sterile cgi kind of way, but really, how contrived do things have to get just because Lucas had a brilliant moment in the second film?

I mean, come on.

I liked it. It was a tour-de-force of CGI splendor, I usually agree with the "sterile" thing but not this time, the CGI in ROTS was nothing short of breath taking, the first battle all the way upto the Duel of the Fates was just awesome. Ian Mcdiarmid did a wondeful job all the way through and while Hayden wasn't exactly great I didn't mind him as much as others do. Then again I thought he was ok in AOTC as well.

Now, I'm somebody who is one of the most HARSH critics of cheese in movies. Blade II and Resident Evil 2 are the worst movies ever made by my estimation, they fucking suck. ROTS does have its fair share of cheesy moments but it really doesn't matter, its just a complete fan boy rush up from start to finish.

And my oh my, the OT works better now, it really does. Empire will forever be my favourite movie of all time but ROTS didn't do bad for itself and is WAY AND BEYOND any Sci-Fi offering of recent years.

Its all a matter of opinion in the end but ROTS has at the very least enough in it to be worth the money and time to watch.

Oh I liked it enough, and my son and I had a great afternoon watching it, he's been buggin me since Tuesday to get it, and I agree that some of the drama cgi scenes were breathtaking. I guess I just take too much issue with the contrived plot.

I enjoyed reading your thoughts on it though.
