Big Dick McGee
If you don't know, now ya know
I guess this is a spoiler, although it's just my educated guess.
THE CARVER IS ACTUALLY DR. QUENTIN COSTA!!! In last week's episode, it was revealed that Kimber didn't actually leave Christian, she was abducted by The Carver. Duh, that much was obvious.
The last scene is the carver making Kimber write the kiss-off letter to Christian. When he says, "Letter. Thank you", the tone of his voice and his body language is that of Dr. Costa! It's him! It makes sense, he was probably about to get drummed out of his last practice for cocain abuse, so he flies to Miami, and starts carving people up so he can come in and be a saviour. When McNamara/Troy start getting all the work, he assualts Sean so he can be assured of working on him. Ok, maybe that's a leap, but it seems to fit.
*sigh* I only wish the show hadn't gone so far downhill. Julia is a schizo, one minute she loves Sean the next she hates him. Matt seems to exist only to make grand pronouncements about how pathetic Sean is, and Christian went from bastard to moralist (when Sean left) right back to bastard. Don't get me wrong, the show is still good, and it's the ballsiest program on television (I mean, come on, which other show would have the sack to depict a main character forcing a woman to wear a bag on her head while Christian fucks her?), but compared to seasons 1 & 2, this season feels inferior. Maybe it's because Ryan Murphy abandoned the show to work on a feature film, I dunno.
Hopefully it will get better before the "big reveal" of The Carver's identity on the finale. But you heard it here first: QUENTIN COSTA IS THE CARVER!!
