No More Cream

RIP.

I always get confused over which Eric Clapton project produced which hits during his pre-solo years. Yardbirds, Derek & the Dominos, Creem...

First the Yardbirds, then John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, then Cream, then Blind Faith, then Delaney and Bonnie and friends and finally Derek and the Dominoes.

He did the solo on Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and they both dated Pattie Boyd, whom he later married. That's where "Layla" came from.

Yardbirds did "For Your Love"

Mayall's big hit with him was (imo) "I'm Your Witchdoctor" Bruce was playing with them then too

Blind Faith (with Stevie Winwood and Ginger Baker) "Can't Find My Way Home" and Winwood was from Spencer Davis group. Best album cover ever.

Delaney and Bonnie "Only You Know and I Know"

Derek & Dominoes "Layla"
