That is controversial? That is the daily fodder of most message boards these days. What would be controversial is to advocate dropping the god damned Nazi's posing as liberals into the middle of the ocean then chumming for sharks. Call it retro-active abortion.
 
I'm not sure that is very controversial either.

I'd say controversial is to say that pedophiles have the right to love too.

perhaps peadophiles should be pitied rather than persecuted.

I'm not equating them with gays at all, but the same rational appleis. if a gay person can't help the fact that he's gay, a pedo can't help that he's attracted to children.

teh difference is peadophilia is wrong, so they need help rather than punishment

Then the controversial opinion would be that paedophilia is right and a good way to educate our children in sexual matters.

I guess if ther'es a genuine loving relationaship between an adult and a child, and the child isn't abused, it could be seen as right, but the law doesn't see it that way
