Every once in awhile, after I've taken an Ambien and am starting to feel that little baby float into my brain, I go into Right Thinking.

Well, back in there tonight, and looked at some Number_Six threads. Made me think of a little project we might do.

Let's analyze Number_Six. Let's assume he's not a troll, but someone close to whom he purports to be. Then lets start taking him post-by-post and letting loose with a little psychological and sociological analysis.

Now I'm an academic nerd, so this sounds like fun to me. What about the rest of you? We could be the team of highly trained professionals who've come to rescue Number_Six from himself.

Who's game?
 
Well so far, Number Six has only two posts, so there's not yet a great deal to analyze.

But based on first impressions, I'd summarize it with this: you're a twat with a grudge.
 
You know, I just went and bought a new toaster -- now, I knew I'd need a multi-outlet adapter for my kitchen, because there's only a single fixture in the corner counter area where I've already got my microwave and coffee maker plugged in.

Boy, was I disappointed when I realized that the fixture houses not only the two lone electrical outlets from which to reach the counter, but that the switch for the disposal is in that same fixture, which means I can't plug the adapter into it.

Man.

He is sort of uptight and stiff, but I think his least appealing characteristic is his tendency to demonize people who don't agree with him. I can understand why he might take conservative positions and criticize liberal policy or ideology, but I can't understand his obsession with smearing all liberals as evil and stupid. He's so strangled by irrational hatred that most of the time he's incapable of discussing the substance of political issues. He just explodes into angry character assasination.
