So what is the deal with the fact that Obama is a smoker an issue this week? The thought of him smoking up the White House wasn't an issue before he was elected. I wonder what will happen if he revokes the non-smoking laws in governmental buildings for the White House to accommodate his bad habit or if he will run out to the edge of the property - his security detail in two - every time he needs a puff?

Wonder how many crazy journalists are going to keep the White House under close surveillance just hoping to catch him smoking in an illegal area. I hope the weather affecting the White House is unpleasant often while Obama is in office.

He said he quit and I think he really tried. Quitting smoking is hard - especially when you've been smoking for a couple of decades or more. Then he has had the added stress of campaigning for President, and now he is preparing for a big move of his family and taking on a lot of problems. He recently admitted in some interview that he hasn't been able to stay quit. Doesn't mean he won't keep trying.

I just think it is hilarious that the same people that were all gung ho Obama - the candidate of Change!!! Haleighluya, Hey Nonny, Nonny, Hosana, Hey! - are having a big sit down discussion on his smoking in the White House now.

I find it interesting, too, that it was Hillary as First Lady that imposed the no smoking rule in the White House.
