This thread is an official response to questions raised earlier by Jack Venooker and Lady_Elena. Since those requests were made in a sincere manner, I will respond in kind: read on if you care. There will be no insults levied by me toward any posters to this thread, including Jack.

For your convenience, I will try to answer questions individually in the order I read them. Skip those posts you are not interested in; some will mean nothing to you, others may be a revelation. I promise, in this very thread, to finally reveal once and for all the single stunt Jack ever pulled which got under my skin. I promise it isn't the one he thinks did it.

Finally, stay tuned to this thread for my honest, unvarnished views on Troll Kingdom, the "TK/Comicon war", and a surprise announcement!

Or was it just his consistency at being a back stabbing baby?

And what is your view of the comicon/tk war? Was it really a war?

I don't give a shit about tk karma, I don't even know what the fuck it's for, so donate my points that you would've given me to Lady Elena if you don't mind.

So, just to entertain me, why don't you actually spell out (coherently w/o cussing, catch phrases, or anagrams) exactly how Jack has managed to offend you.

I promise to take it all seriously &, if so moved, will actually give you karma if I feel you have truely been wronged.

My feud with Jack is long and storied, with many insults and words exchanged over the years. Many times I have posted to this and other boards the things he did which offended me. These including the time he bragged about cheating people on Ebay, the time he turned on his former friend Robert Young to join Dirty Danny (of all people), or the horrible treatment of noobs over the years.


While rooted in truth, none of these actions are the REAL, TRUE reason I declared war on Jack.

Here, for the first time ever, I will reveal the actual insult Jack made on my person, which offended me and angered me enough to dog him for this many years. By revealing this secret, never before mentioned publicly, I leave myself open to renewed attacks on that front by Jack or others. Even Jack himself does not know this fact, though he THINKS he does:


Years ago, during one of our earliest confrontations, Jack created a dual that he pretended was a friend of mine from college. I had commented on Jack's posts about his own wife, many of which were disrespectful and offensive to me. His dual, claiming to know me and my habits, made allegations that I had repeatedly cheated on my wife while at college.

I am above all things an honest and honorable man. To make such a statement as "truth" offended me deeply. Had Jack made such a claim in person, even as a joke, I'd have beaten him for it. However, that option is not available or feasible, so I did the next best thing: I hounded him until he dreaded seeing a post with my name on it.

That is the one and only true reason I despised Jack all these years. The rest was true, but mainly things which I let him think angered me to distract from the real reason.

This is exactly half true. When Jack returned from his exile to the original Kingdom (his personal ranting board, no relation to present company) he turned over a new leaf and began to treat others with a great deal more respect. In the interest of allowing old dogs new tricks, I publicly declared a truce to be honored so long as his new attitude lasted. I posted nothing about Jack for well over a year, and neither did he about me.

The end of our truce came when he began to feud with someone about things past, my name was brought up, and in the ensuing flame war (which involved Danny, Comicon, and Jack's banning) old grudges were reborn. It had and still has nothing to do with TK, his "defection" or subsequent trolls on that board. Truthfully, it no longer has much to do with anything, even the original insult to my honor. I just enjoyed watching the King fall so much I couldn't resist joining in. I hated Jack when it wasn't fashionable; it felt good to get long-awaited "validation" for those views.

Yes, no, yes, and of course. As I said earlier, honesty, honor and personal dignity are very important to me. My online persona IS my real persona, an intelligent goofball who frequently talks too much and enjoys pissing people off for the sake of itself. And yes, it IS just as obnoxious in real life. Or so I'm told.

When Jack offended me, he offended the real me, not some online toy I play with. That's why the long grudge. It wasn't who he played with that bothered me (TK), but HOW he chose to play.

And finally, most of what I write is an elaborate troll. Everything. All of it. Or more accurately, most of what I write is designed to amuse myself and maybe if I'm lucky one or two others. When I post it's 1/3 brilliance and 4/5 bullshit, but you gotta sift through it to figure out the difference.

Look at my post yesterday that started this. I called him a three-suited varlet and a villain of no small regard, fer chrissakes. Who says that shit? It's Shakespeare, thrown in for fun. Didn't matter if no one got the joke but me, I enjoyed it. Your last comment is the crux of it all: it is about playing and having fun. It is ALWAYS about playing and having fun...

You're right, and thank you. Green jello squares rule. You both make valid points. This is just a playtoy, playing nice is important, and neither of us really gives a fuck any more. We fight out of habit, because there isn't anything better to do.

Therefore, I make the following announcement:

It's done. The Venooker/Williams blood feud is finished. Not a conditional truce like last time, dependent on behavior, but a true and lasting end to sustained hostility. An olive branch, extended in the interest of allowing each of us to focus on something different. I can't promise I'll never insult you again. Old habits die hard. I won't wait by the mailbox for an invite to your barbecue, either.

But man this cyberstalking shit uses up energy, and I just don't have it to spare any more.
So there it is. To all things, an ending.
 
Well shit, now I have to find something else to do.

But, I absolutely accept, and thanks.

I answered most of this, but I promised a statement on TK v. Comicon 2005. While I enjoyed Hunter's tenacious refusal to give up, and BATFAN's sudden departure from his benign Comicon persona, I have never been a part of any collusion, invasion or other plotted attacks ofn TK and its members. Your board's original foray to Commie was slightly annoying, but no more than thousands of other posters; myself included.

My arrival here was what I said it was, curiosity. This board has a lot to offer, and a lot to ignore. Pretty much like Comicon. Problem is, when people shoot flames I shoot back, so I wound up in feuds with about eight million different sock puppets and their owners, in addition to the ongoing feud with Jack. So it looked like I was part of a return invasion, especially since I commented that Rick Veitch was a good guy, uninvolved with petty cyberfeuds, and didn't deserve the hacking TK's people pretended they gave him.
