Ok, now I want to see Machette.

You all do know that it started as a "fake trailer" in the middle of the "Grindhouse" double-feature, right?

It was supposed to be a hyper-parody. Of course, Hollywood is so creatively bankrupt they turned a trailer into a movie (seems like that happens a lot, actually).

"Hobo with a Shotgun" is being made too...I hope they do "Thanksgiving Day".

DeNiro, Cheech, and Lohan.

Three reasons to see it right there.

Don't blame the directors in Hollywood, Consumer. Robert Rodriguez loves this type of crap. Since he wrote and directed it, I'm sure it'll be just as fun as Planet Terror. The music's gonna be killer, too.

Copied from Wordforge:
Well, I liked it.
hot chicks, boobs, (michelle Rodrigez looking hotter than I've ever seen her)
Funny jokes, Cheech was great,
Campy.
Remember that. Campy.
A number of good twists on the usual stereotype jokes.

I don't remember the Machete trailer from the Deathproof/Planet Terror movies.
so I thought it was a decent plot and developed well enough. No obvious gaps, and tied together in the end.
Yes, Danny gets a lot of chicks, but that's part of the humor.
And, If I was Danny T. I'd LOVE that fact that i got a few good liplocks on Jessica Alba.

Yes there was some social commentary, but it was mixed in with so many stereotype jokes that it was easy to just enjoy the film.
Besides the "jumping bean" lowrider convoy arriving at the enemy compound, I thought that the two dishwashers were great.

Remember, Campy.
I laughed out loud a number of times.
