On the 4th of November, 2009, missmanners accused you of removing/deleting four threads from the Badlands. Here.

If found guilty you will be stripped of your moderator title and no longer be able to hold office in the Badlands as a moderator.

I have appointed Illyana as your counselor for these proceedings. I suggest you listen to her advice.

How plead you?
 
Omar pleads innocent on the grounds that no such violation of article XVII was committed. The supposedly "deleted" posts are still present in the Badlands, merged and locked on the second page of this thread.
 
There is a second crime here, which is locking and/or merging a thread of your Supreme Leader, Missmanners.
 
Furthermore, for the record, Badlands mods are unable to execute hard deletes. The soft deletes of which mods are capable don't actually remove the thread; they simply opaque it out of the view of normal posters. Any moderator or admin would still be able to see, and undelete, the threads, had Omar deleted them. It's rather moot, however, as the supposedly erased posts are visible in the thread linked above.

Wow, the Kangaroo's are hopping already:

1) You cannot just appoint his council. Omar has the right to choose.
2) You have already prejudiced the jury pool by outlining the charges and stating what the punishment would be. Any good counsel would have waived the reading.
3) As I have stated already, no evidence has been presented to even get to a charge, therefore, a summary judgememt motion needs to be filed.
4) You cannot just pick the jury pool. Each counsel should have Voir Dire rights with certain number of preemptory challenges.
 
I'm not sure if you've noticed or not, but this isn't actually a US court of law.

You may respectfully suggest that Omar be allowed to choose his own council, but he has no right to any of that as of the current revision of the Spamstitution.
 
As long as omar a US citizen, if he a dual or something of a non US citizen, you will have to extradite him through his modem...

Darth, this isn't a US court. It's the Badlands. We are an independent republic. We form our own laws and judiciary proceedings. Just because your country does those things, doesn't mean we will.

I will allow the advocates voir dire rights, if they so choose. However, it is the belief of this court that the jury is fair and well-balanced.

Objection overruled.

aommei's mastery of the Spamstitution is awe inspiring. It makes me both fearful and angry, yet also envious and highly impressed.

Btw, bravo. You caught me. It was to be expected though. Nobody would know the history between Dual and myself better than you would. As blatant as it has been that I've openly and fully supported every decision of Dual's throughout the years, you were able to see beyond that. I guess there's no need for me to hide my undying love for him any longer. Thank you, obvious moron, for your insight and bravery where I was lacking.

I am glad you mention it is a republic. What are the proceedings to appeal any rulings you may impose?

Just because you disagree with him and try to insult him and all that shit doesn't mean you don't have a huge crush on him. Be open about it, the New World Order doesn't judge.
