Sometimes I wonder if some of the EI staff went to the George W. Bush School of Stubbornness. Every time, every thread, nothing but resistance and unwilling to see another POV or admit that they FUCKED UP. It's okay to fuck up. I fuck up all the fucking time. There is no shame to admit it, and at least you give yourself the opportunity to rectify a blunder or two.

There is the issue of Green Bar folks getting away with more. I dunno. I really can't say, but the thing is, the staff doesn't listen, and we get pages and pages of members trying to get them to do otherwise. Same goes for VKD. He's harmless. Have some humor, man.

For God's sake, when I managed an entire STORE, I listened to my employees. Same went when I co-managed a freaking bank branch. Always listen to other people's ideas, and concerns. Sometimes they could be right, and sometimes not. But if you don't listen, you cheat yourself of doing things better.

The worst perpetrators of the shit that went down at the Slipstream BBS started that board and continued in the same vein. I beat my head against that wall for months and all I got was attacked for it by the very people I was standing up for.

IMHO, they deserve what they brought on themselves.

Those that don't remember the past are doomed to repeat it. They remember it alright, but they recreated the same problems again anyway. Doesn't say much for their intelligence over there.

I've been post counted, and made to look like EI's anti-Christ and what not. Oh, and conspiring to bring down the board. To answer your question, honestly, I don't know. I'd say it depends on the issue. And even then, maybe. Folks there really don't care what I have to say in that forum.
