Quitting Smoking

I never have smoked, but I know quite a few people who successfully gave up.

Good luck with it.
 
That's gonna get expensive, Mystery D8.

Speaking of, they're hiking the tax $1.20 per pack on the 15th here. That'll make it around $8.00 per pack, just stupid.

So it's not that I care for my health...

I have smoked since I was 11 years old and have tried to give up twice. Once I lasted three days and the other time I bought a pack of ten destroyed them in a display of will power than went and bought a pack of twenty about 2 hours later.

How many does everyone smoke a day? I usually smoke twenty. It does depend though. I can go for weeks only smoking ten a day and then go crazy and smoke 40 a day but that never lasts. I don't like the fact that I smoke but at least when I get all those smoking related illnesses there will be stuff waiting for me. It's all these people dying of nothing that has the medical world stumped. I have stuff like Iron Lungs and such, it's going to work out for the best.
 
Well the years you take off your life due to smoking are on the shitty, crippled, wet your pants side... the less of those the better.
 
I intend to give up in my late twenties early thirties and let my body naturally recover from the abuse.
