Rap Music

Hambil

I AM A GOLDEN GOD
So, I've always said I hate rap music. And that's true for the most part. However, I was building a playlist of my currently favorite songs off Napster and I ended up with three rap songs in it. That's struck me as odd.

I guess there is a style of rap music I like, it's just not the main-stream style you hear on the radion all the time.

Here is the list, for your edification.
Where is the love: Black Eyed Peas
Cleanin' out my closet: Eminem
Dying to Live: Tupac

So, you're saying the style of rap music I like is sell out pop rap music? I'm okay with that.

I heard another one on the radio I liked, it was set to some jazz rift. The lyrics where dumb, but, props for the jazz mix. Have no idea what the song our group was.

You do realize that, in all likelihood, they just stole the music, right? I've yet to hear a single Rap or Hip-Hop "artist" actually compose anything. They either steal the same tunes from each other ad infinitum or crank out some shit that sounds like the results of a 10 year old playing around with FruityLoops.
