Although it wouldn't have had the same impact. Glen Larson said he did it because it was a fan favorite from Battlestar. One of the greatest visual scenes was in the second KARR episode, when KARR turns off his headlights and sneaks up behind the Semi to kidnap Bonnie. The shot of his coming down the highway in pitch black night, with only his red sensor weaving from side to side to judge where he was is priceless.
