Retarded bit torrent question

What is the file extension?

*.torrent?

the torrent file is only the link to the actual download.

Do you have a torrent program?

Try either Azureus or Bit Tornado.

Install the program, then click on the .torrent file and it should start your download, assuming the torrent is still valid, and assuming someone is still sharing the file.
 
Which torrent program are you using? I would use G3, it's a killer app, and is very easy to use for us people who are very computer literate, but aren't IT professionals. G3 will prompt you to save the torrent in a folder, you can then open the folder and use whatever media viewer to watch it. I personally have Nero, but I never watch it on my PC anymore, I just copy them to a thumb drive and watch 'em on my PS3. The quality isn't usually true HD, but it's still pretty good on my 52" flat screen. Call me later if you need my help!
 
You need a program to actually download the torrent. Most likely, the torrents you want aren't downloading.
