RobL's HD thread closed for no reason

This saddens me more than words can say. :(

I was hoping that WFers and TKers could stop all of this petty bickering, get together, and all mutually love Elwood. Because he's so cool.

(Except for maybe Gagh, who finds all of this internet drama tedious.)

I find that humorous considering how much messing with personal info bothers you and that sort of thing happens over here all the time.
 
I sent a PM to Tamar requesting explanation, since there was none in the thread.

I think a lot of the internet's problems could be solved with a mutual loving of Elwood.

Unlike WF, TK doesn't claim to value a person's right to privacy.

Different forum, different rules. ANd like I said, I've never been concerned about my personal info. Anyone who wants to track me down is welcome to, I'll greet them in the manner they deserve. And it'd be hard to get me fired seeing as how I am the boss.
 
All I have ever seen is photochops of peoples pics that they published themselves, and perhaps some trolling CLAIMING to have private information.

Don't get too comfortable too quickly. TK is a complex board. It's not as scary as they claim, but it's not as innocuous as it seems either. Just remember what Miss Manners said, "We save everything for future blackmail!" So, keep that in mind as you post here.

I know it isn't a cuddly haven of kittens and teddy-bears. But I think I can handle it.

It's well known I don't give a fuck about personal information that can be found on the internet.

I think the WF rule is retarded and pointless. If WF was mine...and I don't want it so don't worry....neither Storm or Gul would be banned. Some pointless threat with no reason to believe it's even credible? So what?

Crosis was crying and whining about the horror of personal information at WF and went on about how he was burned and people shouldn't even have a hint of worry about their personal info and then comes here and acts like he doesn't give a damn?

Either he is a major hypocrite or he's the troll he keeps claiming he isn't. Either way it's pretty funny. :lol:
 
IIRC, posting of personal information here is not permitted, except first names, or if the poster has revealed such information themselves.

I think.

Missmanners might be able to clarify...
