Hey SR, I got an Idea for you:

Well, if a current admin wants to add a Fuck Off option I'm OK with it. If I were and Administrator I would automatically add one. Can I have your vote? Thanks.

i'm watching it right now. he is his former family house. its quite sad.

all he has left is revenge.... :(
I think Robocop 2 was fucked up when he started stalking his wife. And then he basically told her to fuck off when she came to see him. Another reason why I like the original.

though that was after the departament told him to fuck off from her. i think there is a hidden tragedy encapsulated in the shell of a robot which IS the husband of his mistress yet can no longer function as a husband and father

all he can do his hunt and protect.

i love this film. thoughts?

Number 2 with the introduction of the junkie as the next robocop was a crappy idea, and Robocop 3 was shit from the begining.

Nothing will beat the original. Cop gets blown into pieces, Cop gets revived as a super cyborg, Cyborg whoops more ass then god to avenge his death.

Another plus was The Guns, that military hand cannon with explosive rounds was like the sniper rifle from hell. That and Blowing Jones out of the top floor window at the end really just made the movie

I really need to watch my trilogy again. But I think I'll wait to get the DVDs.

1 was great. I saw it in the theater when I was 7 years old. My first R-Rated film, and I've never been the same since.

2 kind of lost it's luster. Not so much a cop with revenge, rather a cop with a nemesis, who got even stronger. In the end, Robo's humanity was what won out, which is what gave Robo his charm.

3 was good in the sense of he was the protector of justice, and protector of the weak. The part I didn't like was Lewis got killed, and the original actor didn't reprise the role. He seemed to have lost most of his humanity in this film, and acted even more robotlike. I think the original actor gave the character most of it's humanity. And this one had Jill Hennessy in it, so there's kudo points right there. ;)

Cobra assault cannon. State of the art- BANG BANG!

@Rommie

I thought part two was influenced by the fictional USA war on drugs. The druglord saw himself as Jesus and later it is revealed he is simply a megalomaniac.

what is poignant is that the woman specialist said that the prototype robo2s failed because they had nothing to live for (holy shit, "I had to kill bob moroton because he made a mistake" and I hear ed-209 GROWL i have to click back friends :P)

Murhpy had something to live for. A family and a strong sense of justice, and kane wanted his Nuke drug. polar opposites, though flawed in portrayal (a la RC2)

You know me. I opted for the fuck off option. It seemed like a no brainer. So there's a good chance your buddies will vote the same through default.

Really wasn't a very smart option to add.

I thought it was really creepy the way OCP kept trying out the different models and the one ripped its helmet off, exposing its skull on stage. The NOKE and all that shit. It was a fucking wierd show. I keep remembering Caine, being reduced to a video image, as the "next" generation Robocop reaching out for the huge vial of Nuke with those roboclaws. The Robocop franchise is interesting... entertaining... tempting... Kind of like making Scrotus Rex a Moderator. Come on guys... Give me some support. You know you love me.

that was the highpoint. he had a nemesis dedicated towards something which represtended the opposite of what he was. it was about the struggle

watch it something. watch how resilient Kane is towards the end. the fem who engineered his existence actually smiles when he pushes away an APC driven into him, despite the corpses of civies and cops strewn about.

i like this movie.

i was a little brat when I saw that. disturbing to say the least. i think it explains my present sociopathology as the eternal supervillain.

now fuck off, n00b.
