Good flick, keeps the pace up, and well done.
adventure with dry humor,
suspense with mystery,
And damned if I didn't get misty eyed at parts.

And it was cool that the characters stayed in character
Those that are bored by 6 viepoints of the same person type movies will know what I mean.

I was supposed to see it with TQ, but he was late. After I ran into him and gave him money to see it. He's there right now.
 
Yeah, I saw it -- KICK ASS MOVIE. Even if you weren't thrilled by the show, there isn't too much bad you can say about the film. The only thing that stretched credibility a bit was the last fight scene between Mal and The Operative. I know Mal's this tough veteran and shit, but come on -- he gets run through with a sword (again) AND shot (again) and then just keeps right on fighting. Tough is one thing, but Mal's gotta have a selective version of fuckin' Hansen's Disease to be taking this much punishment and still keep going. Hell, even The Punisher dealt with the hero getting wounded more realistically than that.

Still, River's fight scenes more than make up for it. :shock:! That is one BAD little miss.

I was kind of hoping he'd fall over after coming back through the hatch.

This movie looks good, and Adam Baldwin looks hot in the flick. Too bad he's old enough to be my da....TQ, you should put him back as your av, I liked that one. Not that I don't like the pic of you. ;)

I saw it with major spoilage -- even knowing a few little details won't take away from this film. Besides, if you've seen the series, you could've almost GUESSED everything I told you anyway. :lol:
 
some people die, some people have sex, REAVERS!!, Mal gets in a fight, trips over his tongue about the Companion, more people die, Mal makes a weird-but-practical decision, more people die, the crew gets screwed, more fighting.

Nothing spoiled.

Oh, and the ship looses a few pieces along the way, and the Aliance tries to fuck'em.

May I also add I hope it makes a zillion dollars and TPTB idiots realise they missed the gravy train in cancelling the series so preemptorially - there is a huge audience base potential there. Always was.
