Yes, despite his personality issues the man was a bona fide star. In every sense. Funny aside: I began following both him and Ocho Cinco Chad Johnson on Twitter when the latter talked Owens into joining the Bengals. Remember the bromance, they were calling themselves the dynamic duo or something. So as that deal started sweet and eventually went horribly wrong their tweets back and forth got progressively funnier as it went from "Man I love you" "No I love YOU man" to "I should WHOOP your ass for making me come here" and "Aw go fuck yourself, playa". It was the funniest feud all season. I got hooked on following sports guys, they have zero chill on the internet. It's the best.
