But Aparently he doesn't read WF very much either. I thought it a bit odd he wasn't addressing some of the very valid concerns in the HD threads HE started, and this looks to be his last post there.... (or anyplace on WF for that matter)

What does that say to the people raising concerns?

Yes he's entitled to a life and no he doesn't have to stay glued to WF 24/7 and address every little issue... but he started that thread, participated for an hour or so, then nothing. What kind of impression does that give?

He's had what, three weeks of drama? The guy probably needed some time away from the place.

Or is he supposed to be here 24/7/365 now?

I'm questioning the wisdom of opening dialog threads with an unhappy membership ( good idea, IMO) and then making a couple of "replies" and nothing else for 2 days. Maybe he thought people understood he'd continue at a later date, but I dont get that impression.

He took time off for awhile came back then seemed to decide he needed even more time off.

Nothing will be improved if Elwood decides to continue burying his head in the sand.

You know what I'm saying. By all means castigate him, just don't castigate him for something that you yourself do. Hypocrisy is only funny when it's blatant & obviously intended.

I expect him to come back to that thread anytime now and post something like "Thank you all for your ideas. I will now take a great deal of time to think about them and try to find solutions that work for all of us. I will let you know in due time what decisions I've reached. As for this thread - you've had enough time to post your ideas and concern. If you have any further comments, let me know through PM. I'll now close this thread." - after that, not much will happen. An occasional bump or inquiry and an apology like "much to do" "not yet sure" and the continuous hope that it'll all "just go away".

Alternatively, he'll already "have thought about it a great deal".

He stays away longer because he knows he can only get away with that "sell it to me" line so many times as a way to shoot ideas down before everyone starts calling bullshit.
