So what did YOU get for Christmas?

From my step-son I got an Eagles Huddler...AKA A Snuggie. It's a wonderful and perfect gift because I am always cold. BDM thought twice about getting it but them observed how buried in blankets I am at night and decided it was, in fact, the perfect gift.

My step-son also made BDM and I the CUTEST ornament with his sweet little picture on it. My favorite gift, needless to say.

My Honey Bear bought me a new laptop. which is AWESOME for the obvious reasons and also because all I asked for was a netbook and didn't expect to get that for a couple more months.

My parents only stuff our stockings, no gifts for the grown up kids but in my stocking I got new slippers and my favorite candies...I help my mom shop every year so I ALWAYS know what I'm getting.

My wonderful in-laws gave us cash so we bought assloads of new stuff for our new house and it was so great!! I loved shopping the day after Christmas, not too crowded and deals galore!!

Aside from crying because my step-son was with his mom this Christmas it was pretty pleasant. I had a good day.

Staple gun - nice.
Electronic talking parrot - a pirate's best friend.
Stargate Portal Collection Boxset - 10 Seasons, 61 discs. Time to lock myself in my study and watch them until me eyes bleed.
Radio Controlled Spider - perfect for scaring the crap out of my kids. Father of the year!
Some toothbrushes and toothpaste - no it wasn't a suggestive gift, either. So shut up I can hear your thoughts.
Some dark chocolate and some kind of some lame Ashton Kutcher movie from my mother.

Some gift vouchers that I've used today for a Michael Palin audiobook (I'm a fan, can you tell?), the 2009 Ashes on DVD and Mark Ramprakash's autobiography (cricket & Monty Python, wow English stereotype!)

Got some clothes, the box of Jelly Babies & Calender I get every Xmas from Mum & Dad.

Star Trek & Transformers 2 on BluRay

Star Trek DVD, money, Bushmills Black Irish Whisky, iPod nano for the gym, hand-made glass decorations for the tree, home made cookies, a day planner, a UNICEF calendar, bottle of nice wine, my brakes fixed, [surprise from Grandpa & Grandma, bless 'em] and a gift certificate for dinner out at my fave local restaurant.
pretty good haul!
