Standoff at Dual's Gate

Dual

RIP Karl 1991-2014
This rich entitled fratboy named Ari owed me 100, he owed my friend 50. I had his Xbox 360 as collateral. After weeks of lying and avoiding payback deadlines, he finally comes tonight to pay me and get back the collateral. He hands me 80 and expect the Xbox. I wouldn't give it to him; he owed me 100. Then he wouldn't give me the money for my friend, that's where things went wrong. He claimed he worked something else out with him; I called him and he refuted Ari's claim. At this point, Ari starts threatening to jump over my gate and take it by force. I tried having a three way talk for a while, but Ari just kept getting more and more agitated. Eventually my friend, Tony, told me just to do whatever so I gave Ari the Xbox over the gate, told him to fuck off, flipped him off, and called him a psychopath as I closed my door. He yelled, "douchebag!"

You should have beaten him with a 15" black rubber cock. That way you'll be know as man you pay when you owe.

Was Ari really so in need of money that you were willing to lend it to him; knowing full well that he is unreliable?

Were you so in need of the money that you tried to hold the XBox as insurance to replace the value of dollars you had lent him?

Next time suggest to Ari that the pawn shop can hold his stuff as collateral.

Those questions were rhetorical, Dual. You came off to me as a nice guy, but not one that gets taken advantage of like that. *I* never would have dreamed of hitting you up for money. Perhaps the multiple deadlines were the biggest mistake?

Yeah, I was increasing his debt with each one though so that I'd eventually get a larger payoff. I never loaned him money; I fronted him on certain other things. I got 100 out of him for the Xbox after he took essentially 50 from me, though the 50 I profited weren't really worth the hassle.

Gotta love interest...
