In the beginning of Star Trek VI, the Excelsior is on a mission, cataloging anomalies. The Excelsior is commanded by Captain Sulu, Star Fleet's first gay captain. Captain Sulu also has a penchant for saying "O MY!"

"anomaly" is an anagram for "ANAL?! O MY!"
