So is this the ssame thing as the Filoni movie and they've just changed director? Or is it instead of that? Or are both happening?

REAL Star Wars is back.

I watched this. It was good fun. It's actually like a proper mini series with original characters and its own setting, rather than a series of unconnected skits. There are lots of fun recognisable cameos, of course, like Mark Hamill and Ahmed Best, and I laughed out loud at the reveal of Billy Dee Williams' character. It also kind of loosely makes a point about how just because the "old" Star Wars is gone doesn't mean it wasn't important and it's fine to still enjoy it while rebuilding the galaxy into something new. Anyyway, I liked it and I'm an adult man (lol.)
