It's amazing how Google went from understanding that having the cleanest front page possible was an asset to using their front page to try to sell you on Chrome and their fucking Android app store.
And if you do download it they give you a patronising "you're AMAZING!" message.
I do quite like, Chrome, though. It's cleaner looking than Firefox, though that does change somewhat once you've installed all the apps so that it has functionality you were used to on the other browser.
I'm actually using Chrome over FF on my 64-bit laptop at the moment, because FF has been miserably buggy for months and I can't seem to fix it. Chrome is nice and quick, although some sites still don't support it.
At the same time, I have completely deleted any Google features other than Gmail & YouTube from my Google account, and I never sign in at any of these places unless checking Gmail or YT, so that they can't have my soul.
I don't like how you can't select in Chrome's options for the browser to dump your history, download list and cache every time you exit. It's annoying to do it by hand constantly. I'm hoping someone out there made an add-on that accomplishes this.
