I want to smell dark matter
He started cutting the grass. He was cutting in lines, going backward and forward over the same spot several times. He would cut every area of the grass equally. Simple.
There were some holes in the ground because a cow had escaped from a nearby farm and trampled through the garden. Those were annoying him a little. Should he go right over them? What if the blade broke? No, don't be stupid, this was a new lawnmower, the blade wouldn't break. He'd bought it specifically because his old mower had been so creaky. It would be fine...
He went to work. It took him quite a long time, but he was satisfied that he'd done a good job...until he noticed a small area of long grass in the corner. How could have have missed it!? No matter, he went over it. He was done. Finally...but he'd better check just one more time.
He went up to his bedroom and looked down on the grass below. It wasn't even! Not at all! Only from this vantage point could he see it. How could he have been so vain as to think it was acceptable? It was not acceptable!
After another twenty minutes of mowing he went back upstairs. It looked good...but there was one long blade he could see. It must have been very long to stand out! He'd have to go over the whole lawn again.
Another twenty minutes later he went back up to check. It looked fine now, perfect even.
Still, he'd better go over it once more just to be safe.
And then another time just to be SUPER SAFE.
Finally, he was down. He looked down at the grass proudly. Four hours well spent.
Now for the front lawn.
