A movie starring Christopher Reeve as a newswriter, Morgan Freeman as a pimp, and Kathy Baker as a heart-of-gold hooker named "Punchy." Mimi Rogers is also in this but remains completely buttoned up. Morgan Freeman actually eats fried chicken very prominently, and threatens people in a pimp-like fashion. The only black people in the movie are poor and inner-city (except Morgan Freeman who has enough money to decorate his grill.) Yet the movie occasionally attempts to play the race-sympathy card. Odd.

I woke up in the middle of the night in the middle of that film. I have a crush on mimi rogers, so I was half dreaming all kinds of weird shit while dozing and watching it. But whenever Freeman would do the pimp shit, my lucid semiconsciousness would play with the concept of his "out of characterisms".
