How about a thread asking why Storm was unbanned after making terroristic threats and I am still banned after being set up by Tamar?

He was purged on the "no prior contribution" rule. The one Tamar said was for the likes of Jillian and SaintLucifer.

Did he make a contribution? I really can't say that I recall him posting at all. Perhaps I wasn't around at the time (I've been known to take long sabbaticals).

Oh, yeah. This is the one where Listkeeper warned me and Tamar claimed that defying an order from a staff member, no matter how wrong they are, is warnable. See, I kept starting threads about DarthSikle (2-3) without using Face's clever little "How do you FEEL" line to make it technically permissible.

Discussing banned posters counted as policy or some shit, and that it should be taken to the HD. The issue of Darth had been 'resolved' in HD so any new threads there would be locked and also warned.

That's how incompetents like the WF staff solve things, and then act surprised when blowback arrives.
 
Okay, yeah, I remember that now. If the general set of ideas presented in this room go anywhere, I'm sure that will take care of things for Darth. But strategically, I'm not sure fighting a battle on the specifics will move anything forward. It would feed the idea that calls for change are nothing more than trolling.

Essentially, my view is that Wordforge is fixable (in the macro sense) and when fixed, these specific issues will go away. Alternatively, it is not fixable, and at some point a new board will rise in its place. My preference is the former idea, but a failure to be selective about which battles to fight will most likely push things more in the direction of the latter.

In principle, I agree. There is a limit though, to what I can tolerate.

Before Mr. Wood answers, I eventually received and answer from him and he linked me to a post in WF that said my unbanning had a snowflakes chance in hell.

I subsequently e-mailed him after the shit storm and offered to be his personal kiss ass if he let me back in. Just to spite the people that left. He did not respond to that e-mail.
