The consiracy theories do hold a modicum of merit, and while some are incredibly outlandish some tings don't add up with Septemeber 11th.

Lets looks at some pictures and annomilies.
This helicopter, what was it doing there. The press were told to be out of the area by this time and everyone was aware that the tops of the WTC's had obstacles on them to prevent helicopter landings for possible rescues. So what the hell is it doing there?
The oft mentioned misslie streaks leaving the exit side of the explosion point.

4,000 Israeli/Jewish employees did not attend work at the WTC on 9/11
This claim made by Al-Manar, the television station of Hezbollah, has been repeated by a wide variety of other sources, such as Amiri Baraka. The original Al-Manar claim was:
"With the announcement of the attacks at the World Trade Center in New York, the international media, particularly the Israeli one, hurried to take advantage of the incident and started mourning 4,000 Israelis who work at the two towers. Then suddenly, no one ever mentioned anything about those Israelis and later it became clear that they remarkably did not show up in their jobs the day the incident took place. No one talked about any Israeli being killed or wounded in the attacks."
Claims cell phone calls were impossible
During the flight of United 93 passengers are said to have made a number of calls to both family and emergency personnel. It is argued that connecting a cell phone to a tower's signal would have been near to impossible from the air. Based on this information, some theorists suggest the calls were fabricated or never made at all. Others disagree.
In 2003 a Canadian team conducted experiments to determine if cell phones could be used from civilian aircraft flying at cruising speeds and altitudes. Their findings concluded the probability of a typical cell phone making a stable connection to a cell on the ground is less than 1%. Anecdotal evidence provided to the team by airline passengers in other parts of the US and the world corroborates their findings.
Strange Stock Market fluctuations on September 10th.
Ok, this is one of my own that I never see or hear of of. I remember September 10th clearly. I remember exactly what I did that day and I remember watching the buisness news in the morning. the stock market analyst was confused by strange behaviour in the Stock Market, it seems that something was going on but he couldn't explain it, he added that anomilies do occure rarely like this and that it's usually due to information that is not publically availbale at the time. The Stock market fluctuations on 9/10 were quite significant, yet I have never seen anythign made of this though I remember it clearly.
Also on this pic above, notice how the right wing is flat to the cameras angle.
Now, look at the left (bottom) wing. It appears that this wing is on an angle, and not flat.
How could that be? These wings do have some ability to bend, but not this much.
You can also see this by the engine. The metal fin it bolts onto is visable hanging below the left wing, but not on the right, becuase it is straight on to the camera.
Also if you look at the video, you see that the plane is not banking hard enough to cause this.
Now, look at the tail fin. It is not flat to the camera ??!!
Now i know that the pictures may have been taken at a slightly different angle, but i dont think it was enough to make this wing ~10ft longer?
What is especially striking in the collapse of both towers is the enormous volume of material being ejected early in the collapse, and the quantity of shattered steel thrown out ahead of the dust clouds. Much of this broken steel consists of neatly chopped one-story long pieces of the perimeter columns, 14" square steel box columns that are assembled in three-story sections. These columns are also welded to 52" deep plates along each floor, but have somehow been broken free of these at the same time they are chopped up and ejected at high speed. This combination of shattered debris with dust and smoke ejected at high speed makes for a textbook picture of the effects of high explosives.
The above is one of a remarkable series of pictures taken by Bill Biggert, a photographer who was killed by the dust cloud from the WTC-1 collapse. It shows large numbers of 12' sections of perimeter columns flying out ahead of the dust cloud in what is very clearly an explosive event. He got very close to the North Tower just before it fell, and captured some amazing pictures of its collapse and of the previous damage from the WTC-2 collapse. What is clear especially in Biggert's pictures is that the building is turning to dust as or even before it falls, as for example here. Because so much very fine powder is produced very quickly and mixed with air, it becomes a pyroclastic cloud, capable of very rapid and destructive flow after falling from its original height. This earlier article of mine (also referenced below) discusses the issue of pyroclastic flow as it applies to the WTC.
