What the hell? I've been getting this message every other time I click on a page for about a week now.

I'm using the most updated Firefox browser, and I'm on dial up. OH and I also get the message that my DNS cannot resolve IP addresses sometimes. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

OK.. I'm using a different access number and it seems to be working fine now. I r stupid.

If changing access numbers fixed it then it was probably just a shitty DNS issue with your ISP.

You might want to check your hosts file to see if anything has been changed there. Assuming you're on XP, it's located at C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. It should look something like this:

Code:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost

If there are any uncommented lines below "127.0.0.1 localhost" that you didn't put there, shitcan them. If not, yeah, it's probably your ISP.

Uhhh, and that missmanners is a goddess line definitely shouldn't be in there.
