I got a cheap one for around $60 but I don't use it anymore. The heat control was just not very good and I was basically smoking the damn stuff anyway. I guess I need to (someday when I can afford it) spend the 200 + dollars on one with real temp control (measured at the location of the herb).

If I understand it correctly, this will cut WAY down on the tar and thus the dangers of cancer that come with smoking (and other dangers).

I'd like to get ahold of the Volcano. I know someone who has one and it's flat out badass. Expensive though.

If you smoke through water and use wooden matches the health threats are negligible. I've never been sure about the safety of gas lighters. I figure there still may be some residual shit getting in on that flame. That's just me though. I don't know for sure.
