The definition of a 1A violation at EI is subject to interpretation by the staff. I was so informed by Cardie today. Apparently there's a magic level of nastiness that must be crossed.

So...it's ok to flame at EI so long as you don't cross this invisible line.

Oh crap, everything is subject to the interpretation by the staff. What the magic level is today, might not be the level tomorrow. Your taking a risk if you try and guess.

Example- Yesterday - no warnings, no suspensions earned but not given

Tomorrow is another magical day at EI -

Oh but Cardie explained everything in my thread about this there. Apparently, it really is up to the staff what constitutes flaming. How convenient.

And of course, the usual cadre of asslickers chimed in what a good idea it is. :roll:
 
I would just like to know what the staff over there has against salsa. I mean, is it a Mexican thing? Are they harbouring a prejudice against tasty? I had salsa on my burrito at lunch today and thought, "Man, I could be in trouble for this." I'm reduced to being a closet salsa eater. On top of that, I used a great deal of punctuation in my written correspondences after lunch. I caught myself editing to circumvent commas for clauses and apostrophes in contractions. Next, I will have to edit my run on sentences to limit the use of semicolons and further inhibit commas. I am having exclamation point withdrawal as it is.

I read Cardies post last night and I thought I was too tired to comprehend and would try again in the morning. I was amazed by her reply but not surprised. Its really par for the course at what happens over there consistently. And those cheerleadrers that followed.. rah rah.

There are 2 sets of guidelines at that board. Always have been always will be.

Either the flame posts I made or improper hyphenate who knows! I'll go back in a day or two under a proxy and create another account!
