The apocalypse is scheduled to begin at the exact same time, COINCIDENCE? PROBABLY NOT, OKAY THE HORSEMAN OF DEATH IS AN MFER.
 
The main celebrations will take place that Friday and for the whole weekend that follows. However the official Mine Field Reunion Closing Ceremony won't take place until Friday the 24th of October. So don't worry if you can't post that weekend, just get your post in during the official Mine Field Reunion week!

I will send messages hassling people next week. I feel it's too early to do so at the moment, because everyone will have forgotten again by the time the MFR comes.

If at least three people who haven't posted for a while don't return during the MFR2014, I will leave the Mine Field forever.

What has everyone been doing to spread awareness of the Mine Field Reunion in their local community?
 
The old saying "The Mine Field is always least active right before the Mine Field Reunion" is proving true.

It's basically a much catchier version of "it's always darkest before the dawn."
 
I helped spread the message by telling everyone at work. Their most frequent responses were "an actual MINE FIELD?!" and "you've been away for two weeks, surely you have something to be getting on with?".
 
By a week today I will have either declared the Mine Field Reunion a rousing success or declared that I'm leaving forever for real this time.
