Christian and I have discussed the premium membership features that we plan to implement. They are as follows:


Increased private message space (there will be a limit post-upgrade).
Avatar upload to the server (no AutoAdmin worrying you!).
Increased signature space.
Premium members' lounge.
Link under your name to your website if you have one.
Small image to denote premium member (maybe, see below).

Quit your yapping, Scum. The server is having problems, and we are having trouble implementing upgrades for everyone, not just premium members. Its a Star Trek board, for god's sake, not a Country Club. :D
 
Maybe now would be a good time to beg for reinstatement so's I could pay for the privilege of posting. :lol:

BTW..me and Satan are havin' a helluva snowball fight. ;)
 
You'll still never convince me that the most active person at TBBS looks at $25 worth of ads a year. Do the math. 2000 active users (a conservative estimate in the very least) times $25 per user equals $50k a year. With that, Chrissypoo should be able to afford a first class server, tech support, and whatever else he needs to run that place.

I'd still like to get a number on how many people have paid memberships.
 
Getting rid of the ads, custom titles, and this promise of "future incentives". Plus, you'd be surprised how many people actually feel like donating to TrekBBS simply because they enjoy posting there that much. If I wasn't already a mod, I would have donated just for that reason.
 
BTW, did Enterpriser ever get his $25 back after he was permabanned? Seemed kind of dirty, having him pay and then giving him the boot.
 
Or so Chrissypoo says. He handles all the cash, does he not? And once their permabanned or otherwise "disposed" of, all we have is his word.

Given his track record, I'd take take any of his claims with a serious grain of salt.

And while your joking, you bring up a very serious issue.

$25 is almost the perfect amount. Too little to trouble with the legal system to get back, yet, enough to get the payee some serious coin if enough people fall into the scam.

So, BB, you never answered my question: How many premium members do you have? Or, does he not share that kind of thing with the lowly mods/admins?
 
I honestly don't know RobL, and I really don't feel comfortable discussing any of it with you in any type of authoritative fashion. T'Bonz might answer your questions, though I think asking them over there would meet with more success.

BTW, has Paramount ever said anythinga bout this nice little set up he's got?
