The UFL’s 10-game regular season will start on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with a battle of the 2023 champions: Birmingham Stallions (USFL) vs Arlington Renegades (XFL). Players will report to training camp on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. The United Football League (UFL) is set to launch as the premier spring football platform, formed by the merging of the XFL and USFL in 2024. The UFL has eight teams in Arlington (TX), Birmingham (AL), Detroit (MI), Houston (TX), San Antonio (TX), Memphis (TN), St. Louis (MO), and Washington D.C.

With just over a month left before the United Football League's eight teams report to training camp Feb. 24 in Arlington, Texas, the USFL and XFL conferences participated in the Super Dispersal Draft. No team has been as dominant as the Stallions over the last two years, winning 21 of 24 games and going undefeated in the USFL playoffs.

UFL's Battlehawks agree with ex-Bengals QB AJ McCarron​


One of spring football's top players is returning for another season. Quarterback A.J McCarron agreed to terms Friday with the St. Louis Battlehawks, one of four surviving XFL teams that will make up the new United Football League this spring. McCarron started nine games for the Battlehawks in 2023, throwing an XFL-record 24 touchdown passes while leading the league with a completion rate of 68.8%. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and spent the final six weeks of the season on their active roster following starter Joe Burrow's season-ending wrist injury. McCarron, 33, was a fifth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2014 following a storied career at Alabama. He has appeared in a total of 19 NFL games for the Bengals, Raiders and Texans. The Battlehawks will join three other XFL teams and four former USFL teams Feb. 26 for a joint training camp in Arlington, Texas. The UFL's 10-week season opens March 30.

ufl 2024: what's to know about rebranded spring football league
The third UFL, this time owned equally by Fox Sports and the former investors of XFL 3.0, opens training camp Saturday in Arlington, Texas. Its eight teams will play a 10-week season with no bye weeks that kicks off March 30, and the league boasts a combination of advantages -- strong financial backing, multiple national broadcast partners and a blend of previous templates -- that its predecessors did not.

For a third straight year, football fans will be treated to a spring pro football league. Fans, however, will receive a facelift this year with the arrival of the UFL, a combining of the USFL and XFL. The UFL will kick things off with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 30.
