So on your Petition for Name Change, what did you give as your reason for the change to Simon Templar? You know the judge will ask at the hearing.

Still working on how to phrase it on the form, but it boils down to the fact that my immediate family were, shall we say, unsupportive of my desire to make a career of writing. In the event that career does take off, and I have every confidence that it will, I don't want to be bothered with the drama that will likely ensue should it be necessary to instruct them to go fuck themselves.
