I want to smell dark matter
Production value: great. This is what fantasy should looked like on tv (well unless it looks like GOT but that's another level up.) Writing and acting...not as good. But it's from the Smallville guys so what did I expect, really...

It was obvious the younger cast members were mainly there for their looks. The guy playing the Elf Princess's boyfriend was particularly terrible. (Human girl was hot though.) So I don't know. I'll probably watch a few more but if it doesn't get better I don't know how long I'll last.
 
My work bff has been looking forward to this for ages so I'll give it a go, but I don't have high hopes.
 
I loved it. After people were saying the acting wasn't so great I was expecting it to be terrible, but it wasn't. LOWERED EXPECTATIONS.
 
Well I didn't say it was a total disaster, but watching it right after The Expanse the drop in quality was quite obvious.
 
I had a whole day in between, and other shit shows to buffer them! lol
 
I watched The Expanse, then about 30 mins of this. It looks absolutely beautiful, but the acting is pretty poor imo. I'll watch the rest at some point, but I'm not sure it's really for me.
 
I watched the third and fourth episode. Third episode was about the same as the first two (not very good) but the fourth was a bit better since it had a clear storyline. Really I don't think they've done a very good job explaining the world or telling us why we should care about all the stuff. And if it's set thousands of years in the future why are there old cars and helicopters and STUFF lying about? They'd be long gone.

The two girls are really pretty.
 
I like the story under the not so great acting. Really the worst actor is the the guy playing Eretria's rover daddy. He's kinda bad in everything he's in. I hope he gets killed off!

Manu Bennett's acting skills have improved so much since season 1 of Spartacus. He was kinda comically bad back then, but now I love it when he's on a show.
 
I love how blatant they are about ripping of LOTR. "That's what happened to Gandalf!"

I wonder if Eretria being bi will even go anywhere.
 
Finally I am caught up!

I thought this one was really good. The romance stuff is kinda dumb, but the demons are really scary.

BYE CRISPIN, you were an asshole anyway. Now, I hope we never see the rover daddy again.
 
My niece was addicted to High School Musical a few years ago. The only way they are alike is that the actors are almost all really pretty. The gnomes are super uggo tho.
 
There were too many of those elf guys so it's good to kill a few so I can remember who the remaining ones are.
 
WTF. Last week they said it was super rare to find any stuff from old Earth. This week they find humans who dress exactly like us and watch Star Trek: The Motion Picture. And had gunfights. It was just so random. And Eretria is really really hot so I have to keep watching. :(
