The Skeptic's Guide To Global Warming

Christ so far this thing has more buzzwords and conspiracy bullshit than a fucking creationist article on evolution. Despite all the other bullshit he's at least got the basic facts right so far. Earths global temperature rises and falls and has done so throughout history and this is neither the warmest or coolest Earth has been by a longshot.

Well see what happens when he comes to the part about how current industry is affecting or speeding the climates change.

During the last Ice Age? Bush distributed deodorant aerosol cans to all the dinosaurs.

It was an American conservative plot and there was global warming.

Earths global temperature rises and falls and has done so throughout history

Usually not so drastically within a hundred or so years.

Maybe the Industrial Revolution was just a coincidence!

I know, it's december 15th, we're just south of the meridian line between the equator and the north pole, and its 44 degrees and raining. The ground hasn't frozen in Vermont for the first year in recorded history. All the maple trees are migrating north.

Global warming is just a buzzword so a failed presidential candidate can sell a book.

I wish the hyper fanatics that believed in global warming would follo their own conclusions:

Global warming will melt the icecaps, create cloud cover, cool the planet into another ice age and kill all the humans.

Seein's how they hate all humans as evil bad American bastards, isn't global warming a good thing? The ice age will solve the warming and all the bad Americans will die.

Perhaps, but an ozone hole the size of America over Antarctica is at least interesting, wouldn't you say?

Despite the rhetoric, we are not the dirtiest nation on the planet. We have some of the cleanest air of all of the industrialized nations.

We talk about depleting ozone - yet the researchers (who take grants for alarmist results to garner more money) quietly ignore that our coal plants create ozone.

Better science has shown that undersea volcanic activity is effecting plankton and the temperature of the sea at a greatly increased rate over the past. If it is coincidental with the industrial revolution, should we discount undersea volcanic activity?

there's too much hysteria over these grant-research reports to gain objective dialog.
