When Alexander Baron returned from the Holocaust Conference in Iran which he attended, he found that the conference Western media "reported" about might as well have been on a different planet.

In December this year a fanatical Islamic Jew-hater convened a conference in Tehran dedicated to denying the Nazi Holocaust of the Jews as a prelude to wiping Israel off the map. Jew-haters including outright Nazis attended from all parts of the globe burying their ideological differences in order to put this fiendish plan into action.

The above sums up the consensus on the recent Tehran Conference on the Holocaust and on its convenor, Iran's charismatic President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. As a participant in that conference I can report that the Western media is up to its old tricks of lying in unison again, this time in order to stoke up the fuels of fire against Iran. Not content with sending nearly three thousand American and over a hundred British servicemen to their deaths in Iraq while plunging that country into a civil war in all but name, the hawks in Washington are now preparing to start another war, this time against Iran.

No matter what happens, we won't go to war with Iran.

Makes you wonder, though, why the media seems intent to gear public opinion to war? Something doesn't smell right, here.
 
Israel doesn't control the western media, though. If they did, we would be bombarded daily with video footage of muslims blowing up jewish kids.

Something else is going on.

I wouldn't say that Israel controls the media. I would say that interests strongly tied with Israel control it, or rather, act as a filter which prevent any anti-Israeli news to be dissiminated in the media.

Let's examine this: 18 Palestinians die due to Israeli airstrikes. One or two Israelis die due to a suicide bomb. Which would be more likely to be plastered on the front pages

Not to be a contrarian, but I'm accustomed to reading about israeli aggression and very little about suicide bombers.

My news sources are generally US News and World Report, NewsMax, and Yahoo News. I constantly read articles about how an Israeli attack demolished a government building that housed wounded, but saw very little about the thousands of rocket attacks by the Palestinians from Gaza or Lebanon into israeli cities.

Television might paint a different picture, but I don't watch television.
 
I've seen plenty of news items detailing Israeli aggression, as well -- it's not so much a case of omitting the items as it is that when they do appear, they're frequently filtered through severe editorial bias.

Editorial bias, by the way, is the difference between a "disadvantaged youth" and a "juvenile delinquent," to employ an example. It's just the art of telling the truth and lying through one's teeth simultaneously.

Palestinian "freedom fighters" compared to israeli "aggression"? Seems to me the picture is being painted the other way.

You think so? I don't. I think Ahmedinnerjacket is anticipating his "hidden imam" ascension.

Broadcasting his intentions through bombastic boasting to taunt the invincibility of Iran.

He's right, too.
 
They could, but they won't. Public opinion in Israel has turned defeatist. They're "leaving this one to the UN and Europe."

Meaning, Iran gets the bomb.

Where are we seeing Palestinians referred to as "freedom fighters"? Not in any mainstream media outlet I'm familiar with.

I was talking about that in another post.

I don't watch tv, so I'm ignorant of the portrayal there. I read US News and World Report, NewsMax, and internet news (Yahoo, mostly). Neither do I listen to the radio.

What am I ignoring? Unsubstantiated allegations from a government and media that has once already insisted that a historical enemy of Israel had nuclear, biological and/or chemical weapons? Damn right, I'm ignoring that. The allegations against Iran are no better than those against Iraq prior to our military getting straitjacketed into that fiasco.
