OK. I've never seen "The 300". Probably for exactly the reason I'm about to bring up. But for various reasons, I YouTubed up the clip today.
First off, if you had a big, Bottomless Pit in the middle of your town square, wouldn't it made sense to have some signs, maybe a railing around it?
And second, if you were messenger for the Enemy King, wouldn't you get a bit suspicious as you were being walked over to the edge of said Bottomless Pit?
