I want to smell dark matter
Even as the ink-eyed swept over the cities on the Starwhales back, the spacemen slaughtered the ink-eyed still on Earth with their rayguns. The ink-eyed tried to infect them but the spacesuits did not let the ink inside. The Earth felt them now and panicked. It caused on Earthquake, killing many of its own ink-eyes but also some of the spaceman. It had a team of special ops ink-eyes capture one of the spacemen. It was time to question it.
"Who are you? Why are you attacking us? Are you human?" asked the Earth.
"So many questions!" replied the Spaceman.
"Answer me, stop stalling for time."
"Who am I? I am vengeance. Why am I attacking you? You attacked us first. Am I human? Yes. More than you will ever be."
"I did not attack you first. You fired your gun on me as soon as you left the Starwhale."
"You still haven't figured it out? Oh dear old Earth! What to do with you!"
"You can kill my ink-eyed if you want, I already have a million more colonising the Starwhale. Soon I'll use them to destroy you utterly."
"Still you do not see..."
"You are...connected to the people on the Starwhale's back? But he said they were from Earth, yet you were picked up in space..."
"You started a war. Now, millions of years earlier, we ened it."
"You...you are the people on the Starwhale's back. The survivors, anyway. They Time Demon! He still has the Time Demon!"
"Finally, it comes to you. That's right. When you attacked us, UNPROVOKED, we ran to the Time Demon. We made a deal with it and it sent us back in time. All we had was a primitive vessel we had constructed but never used. But we built it bigger over the years. Stronger. And we came up with a suit that cannot be infected by your ink. Most of all we plotted our revenge. We knew we had to wait for the Starwhale to come and pick us up in its mouth. We wait so long but eventually it found us, the only other life in the universe. We waited inside it, waited for you. Waited to kill you."
"But you cannot! There's nothing you can do!"
"No...but like you said, we can stall for time."
And then the Starwhale turned in space and swung its great tale against the Earth and everything went black.
