Things to do in Philadelphia

I'm going next week, I've been several times so I've done all of the 10 cent tours. Here's what I have planned this time...

I'm going to have the $100.00 Philly Cheesesteak.

I'm going to Benny the Bum's just to get a t-shirt, they were out last time.

A little of the usual, I'm going to the Linc to load up on more Eagles crap and I might go to Citizens Bank Park for lunch.

I invited Darthsickle and his girlfriend out but DS is rude and has ignored my PMs.

And I think I'll run up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art like Rocky 'cause I'm sure that's never been done before.

And that's all so far, any suggestions?
 
Never been to Philadelphia. If I were going next week, I'd probably try to stay at the Rittenhouse Hotel, go to the Franklin Institute to see the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibit, visit the Liberty Bell Center, check out the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art; maybe do the walking tour at Valley Forge. Think I'd try dining at the Barclay Prime and Vetris.

Take pictures and show us what you do. Have a good time!
 
I've done most of what el suggested, except the King Tut thing, that wasn't there before. Barclay Prime is where the $100.00 Philly Cheesesteak is so I've got that.

Monks, yes I've heard of Monks, I was going to take in the Eagles v. Dallas game there last year but ended up at Benny the Bum's.

I think BDM's going to be busy that week but we'll catch up.

Thank you Ru, I'll be safe just pray my checked luggage doesn't get lost or things stolen out of it.

Her trolling is worse than mine...or at least more obvious than say, yours.
 
Trolling? I'm not trolling. I really am going to Philly, I'm leaving Sunday Sept. 30th on a red eye out of LAX.
 
Nooooo, it's made with Kobe beef, aged cheeses and truffles. It's very fancy, I can't wait to try it. But first I'm going to Jim's for a real Philly cheesesteak.

Not much of a sports bar, but IIRC they have something like 400 kinds of beer and the best mussels I've had in a while.
