"Squire of Gothos" tonight on H&I. And I cannot remember actually having seen the entire episode from beginning to end before. Wild, huh?

"Arena" was on tonight and, as I think about it, if I had more money than I knew what to do with, I'd hire someone to do an animated version of it in the style of the Road Runner Wile E. Coyote cartoons.

It's always wild when, after all these years, you catch one you don't remember ever seeing. Tonight was the one with the paradise planet with the deadly rays that are counteracted by happy spores. Spock discovers happiness and love and the whole crew very nearly lives a peaceful life of quiet contentment, but it all gets ruined because Kirk learns that the secret to avoiding happiness and community is to just be a big enough of a dickhead that the plant spores can't cope with it.
