Hey, some of you guys were talking about a month or so ago about going into your startup thingamagig and de-activating certian things. How do you do this?
And stickykeys suck.
And what exactly is mcrdsvc.exe? It keeps causing the little hourglass to come on for about half a second, every second or so. I figured out how to kill it via the ctrl-alt-delete method, but it keeps comming back. What does it do? Can I just nuke it?
Go to Start > Run and type "Msconfig" and you will see a screen come up. Go to the Startup tab and deactivate pretty much everything unless you explicitly wish to have it boot when your computer does.
