Big Dick McGee
If you don't know, now ya know
I doubt many people here will be watching, but this weekend The Masters golf tournament will be played. Honestly, this is my single favorite sporting event, bar none. It eclipses the Super Bowl and World Series in my mind.
This weekend, Tiger Woods will attempt to defend last year's win, and walk away with his 5th Green Jacket. Only Jack Nicklaus has more (6) and only The Golden Bear (18 ) and Walter Hagen (11) have more Men's Proffessional Majors victories than Tiger (10). And Tiger is only 30.
If you are a golf fan, you have to be ecstatic with the opportunity to watch Tiger Woods play. I think when all is said and done, Tiger Woods will be accepted as the greatest professional golfer who ever lived. He's already being talked about as the best putter in the history of the game.
I have a feeling that it'll be me, Menty, and perhaps Gagh watching this weekend, from this board I mean. Even if you are only a sports fan, you should give a look-see at this weekend's Masters. You never know when you'll see something that will take your breath away, like Tiger's Chip Shot on the 16th last year.
I get still get goosebumps when I watch that shot! Vern Lundquist's call was absolutely perfect, too.
Anyone else gonna watch? Anyone? Anyone?
