To You People Up North

You may have your freaking GD snow back. It sucks. I hate it. I took that first load graciously because you guys have had it bad this year, but this is toooooooo much. It needs to be spring now and your crappy weather is messing that up. Turn off your snow blowers!

Other than that, hope you are warm enough and have plenty of good things to eat.

I am trying to dig out today. Or at least get a path out to the road (why did I think a 9 car drive was a good idea????) I have to take a garden shovel to break up the 4 inches of new snow that fell on top of the inch of ice that we got overnight that fell on top of the 12 inches of snow we got yesterday. If it was just the snow, no problem, but those hunks of ice are heavy... and where are all of the enterprising kids with snow shovels who should be out going door to door?

if I dont check back in the next few hours, will someone call 911 and report me having a heart attack?

I'm sorry our load is so onerous, Eloisel. Did we blast some of it into your eye? Next time wear glasses; some of us like to see loads on glasses.

I have managed to clear a path for the paramedics. But naturally the wind picked up and now we have drifting....

I just keep telling myself this is great exercise and I can eat one of those extra dark Hershey bars later with no guilt!!

:D

Thank you for just teasing us, then taking it back. Was only some fluffy flurries that didn't stick around. Course, that may be a different story tomorrow, then I'll have to rant again.

It usually looks like spring around here in March with hints of spring beginning the middle of February. These snow flurries are tampering with my vision. I don't like it.

MM - sorry to hear about your place. C2Z needs to loan you her Edinburgh Winter Warmer.

I like the way the world looks with my glasses off. Everybody is good looking.

Ive lived up here for 37 years, and I've never seen it snow like this. We've gotten about 30 inches or so today so far, and we're getting 2 to 3 inches an hour for at least the next three or four. It has snowed continuously for 17 hours now.

Man, I feel for you. There is just no way I could deal with that. I'm feezing now and its only in the 20s here. I'm going to put on my flannel jammies, granny gown, a sweat shirt and six pairs of socks then climb into bed and cover up with 3 blankets, 5 cats and 2 dogs. Stay warm, my friend, stay warm.

We had some light rain a few days ago and a bit of a chilly snap, low 60's. Tomorrow it will be clear, sunny and 75. And not that crappy Florida humid 75, no, no a crisp, dry 75. I seriously don't know why anyone would live anywhere but here. It's worth paying $400,000.00 for a four bedroom condo, not on the beach.

I had to use the windshield wipers today and keep the traction control on during my morning commute.

The Horror.

It's so warm today I had to turn on ceiling fans, talk about the horror!

I did manage to wash my car too, that's one draw back of this gorgeous weather, there's no rain to wash your car for you.
