^Yes its BAD scifi.
Don't get me started on Torchwood.
I'm glad its there, but only so RTD can keep his gay homo fantasy life out of Doctor Who. I fear what will happen if Torchwood gets canned and Doctor Who keeps going.
As for Torchwood itself - it just blows - (errr..hey! was that a pun!)
Its like some thought "hey lets remake Angel but make all the characters gay and uninteresting!"
I hated the thought of a gay character on Doctor Who but actually liked Captain Jack once he was on the show. But then its like Torchwood completely flushed that character down the toilet in favor of the new and improved Captain Jack, who in the course of almost two seasons has had little screen time and no character development.
Anyway... it has lots on problems, but can be summed up by saying, BAD ANGEL REMAKE.
Stay tuned for next season where Jack turns evil and tries to kill everyone.
